On October 4-6, many of the students had the opportunity to attend camp - an outdoor classroom experience.
Cooking Greek Food
Cooking Greek food connected our Design and Technology learning with the History of Ancient Greece. The students chose to make phyllo pastry stuffed with cheese and oranges with honey.
Lincoln Field Trip
On October 19, we took a trip to the Collections Museum in Lincoln where we did a dig, learned about Ancient Greek artifacts, and made a shield. This complemented what we had been learning in class about Ancient Greece.
