Class Trip

On Tuesday 12th September, Year 3 went on a class trip to Lincoln Castle and The Lincolnshire Life Museum. We learned about life during different periods of history for our topic of We Are Historians.

Here are some pictures taken of the things we saw and did that day.

4th - 6th October 2017

While some Year 3 and 4 children went to Cherry Garth, the rest of the class did some exciting activities including a treasure hunt to find letters and create the word 'Wilderness', making paper aeroplanes and having a competition to see who's flew the furthest and making balloon rockets fly across the classroom.

We have been learning about plants in Science this term. We have looked at different flowers under a magnifying glass to see a closer view of the different parts and labelling them. We have also collected different leaves from the field and our Nature Reserve so we could draw and label the different parts of those.

Drumming Workshop with Jeff Rich

On Wednesday 18th October the whole school enjoyed a visit from Status Quo drummer Jeff Rich. He led a fantastic workshop and we all learned so much about drums. We were even able to join in with percussion instruments!
